Music Feeds My Soul

Like Tyrants when you first hear the name what type of music do you think they play Pop Punk? Punk? no no no no wait Jazz lol just kidding at one point they played Hardcore but that is in the past this band is now Alternative Rock which to me fits them well. This band consists of Nick Wagner, Neil Martin,Efren Vega & James Wilder. Which are pretty unique guys once you get to know them. I’ve felt like I’ve known them for a long time but I’ve only really known them for about 6 1/2 months and I love the music they play it’s a better fit for them. Nick Wagner when he sings,he sings with such passion and love for what he does. You know he is serious about what he wants to do for the rest of his life and i support him 110% this is one of the real reasons why i am still in love with this band. Nick you’re an amazing person you always know what to say and make me feel better when i’m in a tough spot in my life like a big brother and i appreciate that like nothing other. You make me feel like family and it feels good to have a second family i could count on and come to Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Neil Martin is a great bassist he loves what he does and he has very good stage presence and I am proud that i know him he is a sweetheart and fun to be around. Neil Is such a passionate guy and easy going at first glance he looks very shy but once you actually talk to him he is a great listener. Efren Vega is a energetic guitarist he is all over the stage he has amazing stage presence i know i repeat myself with them all having great stage presence but it’s true. I love that about this band and why i speak so highly of them. Efren is one of the most down to earth guys i know he speaks his mind and he is legit with you and straight forward no bull crap. Efren has always been there for me and i appreciate it he was really honest with me recently and it made me a better person. last but not least James Wilder is a passionate guy in following his dreams he is from Spokane,Washington he followed his dream he has the DGAF mentality and I like that about him. James is an amazing drummer when they play like I like to see all the emotion and facial expressions he does because it makes me giggle…He maybe hard to open up but once you get to know James he is a pretty rad dude. James your passion for music and how much you sacrificed to do what you love just amazes me all of you gentlemen are amazing friends and I love hanging out with you outside of shows and getting to know you. I’m sorry if it seems at times i can be a pest but it’s just because i care and your chemistry is just amazing and i am so proud of you. I can’t wait to see what life has in store for the band and you guys personally. You guys really make me feel like family. James i know there are times where you want to rant about things but you can’t let the negativity get to you I’m here for you and the band I will always give you my honest opinion and I’ll always have your guys back okay? Nick again thank you for being so legit with me and being a big brother to me. Neil thank you for making me giggle and forget my problems the day i came over in the rain. Efren you are so awesome thank you for everything being honest about what you think about me and i will keep supporting you guys. As long as you’re a band I’m here if you need me any of you. I know great things will happen it’s a matter of time guys I can feel it in my bones you have the passion the drive and the dedication and i love it. This Band I’ve Known For 4-5 Years Right Around When The Natural Way Was Getting Released. These Guys Are Amazing People I Can’t Wait Until I Open Up My Venue Because These Guys Put One Hell Of A Show On. (Ex: Tonight I’ve Never Seen Anyone Crowd Surf At An Anarbor Show) Their Lyrics Are Not Only Catchy But The Guitar Riffs Are Catchy It Is Amazing Chemistry. I Am So Proud Of You Guys.

Weird Combo right but these songs are  amazing to me the first song i heard from Anarbor was Passion For Publication off their album Natural Way. Anways I Want To Personally Thank Anarbor For Being Amazing Musicans And Friends Every time i see you its always a pleasure and you are so great to talk to.

When it comes to your performances i always get surprised by something new and i love it it makes me come back for more. you are one band that will cease to be a memory or even be amazing. Dear The Greater Heights,

So when i first met you the  band was called A Sky Harbor and i believe it was 2009 when you had another singer i saw your potential but once you changed the name and got a new singer i was blown away by your performance. Their energy on stage just keeps me coming back for more.

So first thing i am going to talk about is how i got into harcore music if you would have asked me to listen to this band say estimate 2002 -2005 i would have said no way i wouldn’t give them a chance.  But once i heard some screamo music i loved that genre but until recently like 2007 to present i started to get into Hardcore music. Bands like Adestria is a reason i love it or even try and go up in the front to watch them they are so entertaining to watch. I love how they get into the music they are true musicians and I love them to death and I am so proud of them not only as a band but as people they are so down to earth and caring about their fans unlike some bands. Last night made me realize and remember why i am in love with this band.

They get into the music and how they get the crowd into the music blows me away like the beach balls were a great touch and the encore last night was so amazing the wall of death i have never seen it and i when he said to split down the middle i was like oh shit?! lol and then when i saw everyone jump in i was like holy crap hahaha i wish i could do that but i am too chicken and afraid to get hit but i will rock out to them and get down with them and jump and scream the lyrics no problem.  Also i love how they mixed it up with New and old they played every song i was hoping for i also liked how in the picture it showed numbers of their set list so it gets the fans guessing so it doesn’t ruin it for us. This is by far the best band in San Diego to me well at least hardcore wise i can’t believe i waited 9 months to see them that isn’t going to happen again.

The band is made of 6 amazing members Chris,Matt,Brian,Jr,Mikey & Mike you guys were insane last night made last night the best ever i want to thank each and everyone of you guys. I love how you guys were all in sync with the guitars if that was choreographed or not i don’t care it was amazing. I know nothing but great things will be happening for you guys and i can’t wait to see what’s in store for you guys you guys work your ass off and it will pay off i know it i have seen so many of my friends bands just give up but you guys are going strong good luck on your tour coming up you will for sure see me there when you guys get big when people ask me about you i will say i have been a fan of them before they were big.

I Love the chemistry between this band and your music its so good well amazing i love how you gave the lyrics in your book so not only i can learn the music but i can sing along i knew all the words to your old stuff singing along to each one of them was amazing my throat hurt by the end of the night but i didn’t care. Because you guys blow me away each time you play and it gets better and better and you surprise me each and every time and keep me coming back for more which i love that some bands don’t progress much as a band but you guys do. I also loved how the crowd was i may have been pushed around but you can feel it in the mainstage the love for you guys and love for the music.

One last thing before i close this blog another thing i notice when they are on stage they really move around the stage they don’t just stay in one place and how Matt and Mikey getting down with the crowd amazing especially you Mikey trying to hype everyone up and i love how Matt always says get crazy and everyone does. if you haven’t picked up their CD you need to its amazing you can buy it at one their shows or on iTunes support local music!!!! they do it for us and they can’t do it without you and you and even you so go pick it up its insanely good i can listen to any song repeat and not get old I’ve been listening to the CD in loop ever since i started this blog and that was about an hour ago. I would like to thank you Adestria for doing what you love and putting on amazing show every time and i loved the light show it was SICKKKKKKKKKKK!! Can’t wait until July i will be again in the front row screaming the lyrics and jumping and rocking out!!!

I think my favorite part of it is the breakdowns or better yet feeling the bass on the ground the vibrations it makes me get into the music more. I Wish i knew how to scream i also think wouldn’t it hurt by the end of the night your voice from screaming but then again i think they have probably trained their vocal cords to not hurt so much or not at all. But i say if you need new music this is a band you shouldn’t regret checking out they are such an amazing band check them out on tour this Summer they will be back in San Diego with In Fear & Faith July 16th @SOMA You don’t want to miss them after that tour they are going back to the studio to record!!!!!
